Archon Books
Archon Books is the imprint for serious and
scholarly nonfiction in the humanities and reference
published by The Shoe String Press. The Archon list
covers history and military history; literary
criticism; biography. Those titles that are suitable
for use by young people are included in the list of
Linnet Books found on that page.
There are some older reprints included on the Archon
list, although the majority of the books are
original titles published in hardcover.
Publishing of individual Archon titles has been
suspended.
